For the past ten years we have been threatened with guest abandon if the infamous brownie would ever leave our dessert menu. The award-winning kitchen is presided over by the indomitable Kate Fay. Seasonal availability of produce necessitates regular revision of the menu, however familiarity is usually only a mouthful away. A menu for the pleasure of the palate based on the taste of the ingredients not the whims of the trend magazines allows the blending of exotic and familiar produce in such a fashion as to hint at a home-cooked meal.
Regarded as one of the finest wedding venues in Auckland, Cibo is invariably booked on Saturdays during the nuptial season. Be warned, bookings for a Cibo wedding should be made well in advance (1 to 2 weeks before you buy the engagement ring to be safe). Many years' experience has allowed the Cibo team to assist in making both the planning and the actual event flow in a calm, flawless manner.
